Do you enjoy being out in the fresh air….?

Appreciate the wonderful countryside around….?

Enjoy the company of active, like-minded friends….?

Then why not join us on one of our weekend walks?

Each weekend we have a programme of walks to suit all ages, levels and abilities.

From beginners to more experienced walkers you can try some of our walks and find your own level.

Led by experienced guides, all you have to do is enjoy yourself!

Don’t worry about having the ‘right kit’ – click on the tab below for advice.

Our Sunday walks take in the Lake District, North Wales, the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales to name just a few. Don’t worry about transport, we arrange a coach to pick-up and drop-off at convenient locations.

Saturday walks are more of a ‘ramble around the locality’ and walkers normally share transport. Once a month there is also a longer trip by coach.

Then why not join us on one of our upcoming walks:

Saturday (19. Jan.) – a ‘moderate’ level walk – NEW BRIGHTON TO LEASOWE LIGHT-HOUSE

Sunday (20. Jan.) – graded level walks – ARNSIDE

So dust off those walking boots and get moving!

Over the last year or so we have lost the services of key ‘A’ walk leaders and are now struggling to offer guaranteed walks year round.

On the current programme we have no ‘A’ leader for BUXTON (Sunday 17th February) and for our Summer Programme we  have no ‘A’ leaders for the following walks:

  • BALA, Sunday 7th April
  • TIDESWELL, Sunday 16th June
  • ANGLESEY, Sunday 7th July
  • GLOSSOP, Sunday 4th August
  • GRASMERE, Sunday 8th September

If you who might be interested in possibly leading any of these walks please let us know. Help and support from the club is available.
